Youth Club Notice
Please note that due to the extension and refurbishment of the Parish Hall the Youth Club is now closed until the Parish Hall reopens.
Any news or events that are organised during this period will be advertised on the Parish Council website.
The Youth Club was started in 2005 by a group of local volunteers, all of which still work here, in addition to a few new volunteers.
We are open from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on Wednesday nights for children and young people aged 9 and over.
Entry to the Youth Club is 75p for children who live in the parish and £1 for children who live outside the parish.
We provide a range of activities including:
- table tennis,
- pool,
- karaoke,
- PS3,
- Xbox and
- arts and craft sessions.
In the summer months we also provide a range of outdoor sporting activities and often have the bouncy castle out.
All of these activities are included in the cost of entry, including the pool table!
We organise events too. Last year we had a day trip to Drayton Manor Park, a 4 day trip to Walesby Scout Camp, a girls pamper day and cinema visit, a boys Quaser Elite trip, Street Art event and many more.
This year we are kicking off with the girls’ day, ice skating and McDonalds visit, a boys day to Quaser Elite and are in the process of planning many more.
We make sure all activities and events are affordable. For example the girls trip to go Ice Skating, a happy meal and travel to and from the venue is just £2 per person.
